Instructions

1. Dissolve yeast together with sugar in lukewarm water and let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour with the salt.
3. Make a small well in the center of the flour and pour in the yeast water and olive oil.
4. Mix everything well with a wooden spoon or hands to form a smooth dough.
5. Knead the dough vigorously on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
6. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
7. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
8. Remove the risen dough from the bowl and gently flatten it.
9. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape small rolls.
10. Place the shaped rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cover them.
11. Let the rolls rest for another 30 minutes.
12. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
13. Bake the rolls for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
